Headlight Assembly Removal HELP!!

Quick question -

I'm doing a modification to my headlights that requires removal of the headlight assembly. Do you need to remove the whole front bumper? It appears like this is the case, but I just wanted to rule out an (easier) oversight.

I looked up the procedure on startek info and it does require bumper removal. Luckily the bumper is actually not too hard to remove, some clips may need replacement on re-install?

Cool. Thanks. I ordered a set of replacement clips to be ready for the destruction of some of these.

be careful to the fact that on some MB vehicles with the higher end lighting packages require a star system boot to get them to work.. (leveling system).. they do this so that it kills the resale of stolen parts.

by removing it you might cause it to need to be reset.
I had this issue on my x164 after the body shop replaced the headlamp and it needed to be sent to the dealer to mate the new light with the car.
