Brake sensor help!

About 2-3 months ago, brake sensor in rear was tripped, ordered akebono pads, replaced them, light went off no problem. Light came on again about a week ago, ordered new akebono front pads, replaced them, but the sensor keeps coming back. Any idea what's going on? Anyone with same issue? The mechanic said it could be anything from faulty sensor to bad wiring... It's an 09 GL450.

Not trying to be a smart a#@ but you did put new sensors in? Once they trip they are shot. Never had a problem with new ones...

The rear sensor harness has the tendency to get pinched in the suspension. Have a lookie lookie down there and see if this is the case. Very common.

Alternatively you should unplug and measure both sensors- they should show short between the terminals.
