2008 GL320 Air Suspension AGAIN!
Good afternoon everyone.
Having trouble with the air suspension once again. I replaced the compressor last year. Now the rear of the car sinks all the way down. I start the car and nothing happens but when I shake the rear bumber up and down, it starts raising up. After turning the car off, I can hear the air escape but can't seem to find the source.
I sprayed the boots and they seem to be fine. I also sprayed the hose where it goes into the boot and that also seems OK. I don't hear the air escaping when I'm by the front tires.. so it's in the back.
What else can I check? Any ideas?
Thank you in advance.

Didn't you say they ARE leaking? They usually go not long after the fronts.
The front and rear are on separate air circuits. So if the front of the car is sagging after sitting idle, it's the front circuit. Similarly for the rear. When you go to the car in the morning, you'll see either the front or the rear of the car suspiciously close to the floor.
It's unlikely anything besides the air bags is leaking, unless there is an insufficiently tightened fitting somewhere. The rest of it is poly tubing that lasts pretty much forever.
The rears are super easy to replace. Check the threads on it. Compared to the fronts, it's a piece of cake. Again, Arnott is your friend.
