No----why not try to explain the shift problem??

Kickdown switches if included are usually behind the pedal and the process is to return the shift pattern to the factory set---however as you know your transmission learns your shift patterns.

if the engine/ tranny has not reached operating temp it is possible that wot downshifts are disabled until temps are in range.

what is your issue? are you stuck in gear? check engine light on?

my apologies for not explaining my problem correctly.

when i am driving the car the gear shifts are fine but once i hit around 60mph and i put my foot down the car doesn't move, the acceleration is very slow. theirs nothing mechanical wrong with the car.

i have read on line that this is because the car is in limp move or that the kickdown is disabled, i have plugged the car into my computer and kickdown is disabled and the CAN module is also disabled and i am not sure how to active it.
