09' GL450 with metal clanging noise

It has about 69k miles and the noise sounds like two metal bars banging into each other speeding up from a stop and a couple of seconds after a complete stop. Doesn't happen any other time during the drive, only at starts and stops. The car does have the typical clunk noise from the suspension like most posts I could find, but this metal clanging noise is loud and very noticeable with the windows down. Any ideas what this could be? Didn't see anything loose or rolling around underneath. Any help is much appreciated!

I found the problem in an unconventional way. It turns out that a tool was left in the tire when those idiots at America Tires replaced them. The funny thing is that I didn't hear the sound until about 1k miles later. The reason it was discovered was due to getting a screw lodged in the tire and was losing air and I brought it to get fixed at America's Tires. Not happy with them at all cuz there was problems with them in the first place with replacing the TPMS seals.

Yea they are not the best. I had tire put on and I watched them try to put my spare in the trunk using the ignition key (its a different key) and they messed up the trunk lock. Then they torqued my wheels to 150 ft/lbs...
