2008 GL550

Hello,

I am new to the site and to owning a Mercedes. I have had my GL500 for about 6 months now and I am having some troubles recently. The car has begun to run very rough and now will hardly run at all. I am getting codes that all cylinders 1-4 are misfiring. Also getting codes P0102 - MAF, P0101 MAF Air flow circuit range and P2182. I have just replaced the MAF and this did not help the problem. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Same as a GL550 2008 in the states.

Can you be more specific on the symptoms?

Thank you for the responses,

The engine is running very rough at idle almost dying. If I rev to over 3000 RPM it seems to run ok. Cannot move it as if i put into gear it dies. It is also shaking badly when at idle.

I have changed the coil packs from one side to the other but still same issue. I have a new MAF sensor installed.

Any thoughts?

Thanks Matthew

Update to my post. If i just turn the key on and read any faults i am getting a p1337 fault code although i cannot find this fault in the list of faults for a mercedes????

If i Just turn the key on and let the car run for 20 seconds i am getting a misfire on cylinder two ad a p0629 fault code.

I just changed all of the spark plugs because they are cheap and it was worth a try. It does start right away now but still runs very rough at idle.
