get rid of Airmatic?

Can I just get rid of Airmatic altogether by replacing all four corners with some type of aftermarket shock/strut/coilover as my buddie did with his 2005 Audi All Road? He swears by it.

The upkeep/repairs on Airmatic are really not bad and the benefits outweigh any cost to convert. Stay away from the OE stuff, except air compressor, and go with Arnott on the struts and airbags. Yes, you can convert to shock and spring but why?

Now, if we were talking about ABC suspension, that's a whole other issue and is crazy expensive to repair/maintain.

It's also worth mentioning that Arnott has a lifetime warranty on their products. So when it's time to replace something, use an Arnott product. If it ever fails again, they will replace it at no charge...that even includes the shipping (both ways).

You have to pay to have the replacement item installed and/or do it yourself.

I had a warranty claim with them a couple of months ago. It was handled so professionally and promptly I was amazed.
