Unhappy A/C Compressor Relay?

Purchased the 2008 GL450 in late September. never thought about the A/C until we temps hit 80 for the first time last week. (Late May) No A/C. No Warranty.

Bought a bottle of A/C charge. Freon would not go in. I suspect it must be full. Went to a mechanic to be sure. The mechanic evap and refilled system. No leaks. Wanted to jump the relay for the compressor, but couldn't find it. By that time, I had to take the vehicle to head home.

Went online to search for relay location. Can't find any information. 2 things I found was the fuse location for the A/C controls (Fuse Good) and some one on some forum stated there is no relay for this vehicle. Is this true? I can't find any info to corroborate that story.

So this is where I'm at right now. If there is such relay, I would like to change it myself to exclude it as the problem. If the relay is good or there isn't one, I'm the compressor might be gone?

Any thoughts?

I'm having the same problem. I searched and I don't see a relay location listed. Does anyone know the location of the relay?

Is there a blower flap that might also be stuck causing only hot air to blow?

The system is properly charged and the previous owner claimed he replaced the compressor.

If it is an aftermarket compressor it most likely will not work. But you need to connect truck to star/ das and observe for errors in hvac module. If you have a wonky sensor the system will not engage compressor. If all is good and compressor is aftermarket- replace.
