GL350
Warranty Service Companies

I have 2012 GL350 which fell out of warranty 04/2016. I really enjoy my vehicle and would like to own it for a couple of more years. I should have purchased the Mercedes warranty prior to the manufactor expiration but I completely forgot about this because I haven't had any mechanical issues.
What extended warranty service company is the best rated? What is their best warranty coverage without too many exemptions and what are the costs?
Though I have not had any problems, I want to be safe if something comes along.
Thanks

There's no point. Sell your car now while it's actually worth something.

Kate0506:
After a new set of run flats, transmission service, brakes and a ignition switch replacement, I guess you're correct. It's time for a new GLS 350!

I've kinda learned the hard way. I had that same ignition problem on my GL. Sometimes it would start, sometimes it wouldn't. These cars are not ones that will run for years on end. I've found at the 4/5 year mark, it's best to sell because the repairs cost an arm and a leg. I actually just sold my 2012 Lexus GX460 with 151,000 miles. Nothing but regular maintenance. Talk about a great product. I've had my share of Benz's, but based on my experience, if you want a car to keep for a while... Stay away from Mercedes. Chose the new RX350 F Sport over the GLE solely based upon the experience I had with my GX. Also, Lexus offers much more standard features... What kind of 50k car doesn't come with Push Button Start standard nowadays?

My GL 450 has over 200k miles and has been the cheapest MB to maintain that I've ever owned. Interior still looks new, thanks MBtex, and the engine runs like a top. I'm also getting better mileage at 200k than I did at 50k. I absolutely love my GL 450!
