Airmatic DIY repair?
Can a sagging front suspension on a 2007 GL450 be fixed by just installing new struts purchased on Ebay or Amazon, etc? Do they need to be connected to some kind of an onboard compressor? My rears are fine.

someone else with more experience will chime in i am sure, but yes you can buy new arnott struts with lifetime warranty and put them in yourself pretty easily
think as far as the compressor goes, you just unhook the air line on the top of the old strut and hook it back up to the new one once installed

Thanks and more questions
So, after doing a few experiments it's obvious my left front air bag is leaking as I can hear the air escaping only on that side after I turn the ignition off. Is there any point in taking the car in for a diagnosis? Can't I just replace the one airbag and maybe not replace the entire strut?
I know the rears were replaced just before I acquired the vehicle and the right front doesn't seem to leak.
