Bluetooth microphone cuts out

Anyone else have an issue with their bluetooth microphone cutting out to those on the other? This happens every few minutes for 10-20 seconds on EVERY call. I've had issues with this with iPhone 4 through 6S Plus, so it's not the phone. It happened with my former 2012 GL450 and current 2011 GL450. WTF!?

I have that happen to me I posted about it.. Some people said it was the Visseo bluetooth audio connector.. So I disconnect mine unless I need to use and it helped but there are times that my audio sometimes still goes out. Personally I want to replace the whole head unit.

Ya, I'm wondering if my Blackberry Music Link is causing the interference. I picked up a Coolstream to see if that helps. I've read through a lot of negative reviews from Mercedes owners with the Viseeo, fingers crossed.

Cool stream does the same thing. When I don't use the VISEEO, I unplug it. It's fighting for bluetooth space. Which runs over two protocols that the phones use. One is the music portion and the other is the talking portion in simple ease. when you have a lapse in the talking portion the music portion trys its hand at it and thus you get a lag.

What is a Visseo connector - What do I need to disable and how. Intermittent fade is causing issues. tx

Viseeo is the brand name of the bluetooth music dongle. There are other brands which all do the same thing.

The Viseeo BT and the native BT in the Benz fight for who's on first, that's the lapse in BT that you may be experiencing? If there is a lapse in the voice conversation the Viseeo tries to take over. The only way around it is to remove the dongle from the port in the glove box, problem solved. Once the voice conversation is done, plug it back in.

If Mercedes had over engineered the comand the way everything else is done this would be a mute point.

I like my truck but some things drive me nuts. Sometimes over the edge nuts. I have a Lexus LX570 and a Honda CR-V that I've never had an issue with. When I'm done with the truck I'm done with Mercedes brand. The build quality is there but the technology is not! Where it went I have no idea. My wive's VW Tourag that's was a 2012 had a better infotainment center than this does.

There is no patch for the music portion of this. Some have said there is, but I've talked to many shops and all have said that was BS. There was some gimmick that some have stated but once you restart the vehicle it reverts back to the default.
