I am looking at 08 GL450 with 115k on it. Still has original struts and air compressor. Does ride quality start degrading at certain mileage or it holds past 100k? Owner says that it still rides close to new

ride quality is not a function of mileage unless your shocks lose pressure (not the airbags, the actual shocks leak oil).

at 115k miles i would say you are overdue for rear airbags, compressor and stabilization bar endlinks.

I have an 08 with almost 130K on it.
I did one rear shock and one rear bag, but I think I damaged both when I dropped the car hard while disconnecting a trailer with a Weight Distributing Hitch.
