SRS warning light in RED
Hi Guys,
Woke up this morning with a nice GL320 in my garage. Got it yesterday.
Love it.
Seeking advice on a few things :
Vehicle has 85,000 miles and has 2 warnings :
1) "SRS" in RED and "SRS Malfunction front right" in gray writing
2) "Brake wear" in gray writing
3) DVD player on back of driver's seat has a cracked screen
The Seller told me that his mechanic said the brake warning was a "pedal adjustment". He said the SRS was a $300+ labor sensor that needed to be replaced.
Any advice greatly appreciated, as a new MB owner.

1)broken seat belt connector

Coming out of recession, took it's toll on my finances, no choice but to buy used, and finding a diesel was difficult.
1) and 2)...got it. Thanks
3) I have replaced screens on many a phone and laptop. Just wondered if anyone had a link to the ebay for the cheapie screen.

But it looks like the ones I have are AFTER-MARKET, so I may just remove and toss. TABLET is better anyway!

Back to asking anyone n forum, how to resolve.
Previous owner says "CHECK BRAKE WEAR" is the BRAKE PEDAL ADJUSTMENT ( ?)

The previous owner is a moron, and you need a new mechanic. I hope you got a good deal. If the PO did not take care of simple items, you are going to have more issueson this out of warranty vehicle. GL is not cheap to maintain.
At 60% wear, you don't need to change the pads. One or more brake sensor wire is short. DIY or take it to a new mechanic for a sensor wire replacement.
