2008 GL450 Rear Drivers side DVD screen
Hi Guys,
my new to me GL has a faulty rear DVD screen, the right hand one works fine. When you hit the power on button the faulty screen powers, but is bright white. You don't get the Mercedes logo like the working screen either. So the backlight is obvioulsy working and I can't see any visible physcial damage to the screen. The previous owner had a baby and the Google research I've done mentions that a child seat jammed into the back of the seat could cause damage. Any ideas how to repair and/ or diagnose? Replacement screen, damaged cabling etc? I can't even figure out how to get the screen out to swap the working and faulty one to diagnose, and extensive Googling has brought up nothing!
