Headlight Washers

I've got 'em on the 550. I've lifted the covers, they're there. The manual states: "The headlamps are cleaned automatically if the 'Wipe with washer fluid' function is operated five times while the lights are on and the engine is running. When you switch off the ignition, the automatic headlamp cleaning system is reset and counting is resumed from 0."

I've tried on multiple occasions to get the washers to activate by cleaning the windshield 5 or more times - no spritz and the headlight lens' are dry. I have them on another car and they work the same way - those activate.

I know, not a big deal/first world problems, but this is our snowmobile and those massive headlights do get covered with salt. So...would like to know if I'm missing something here.

Thanks Wavey, I'll have the dealer look at it next time I bring it in and I'll report back to close the loop.
