So I've had this problem for a little while now and want to address it. The driver side footwell vent doesnt blow air out of it, hot or cold, no matter what the havac sttings are. Passenger side footwell is normal.

I've looked around on the forums and while C-class platform seems to have problems with vent flap actuators I havent seen anything for the GL. I am guessing its the same problem though.

Has anyone come across this issue on the GL? Does anyone have a diagram of the HVAC with all the actuators labeled so I try to replace the right one?

This is the best diagram I could find but it doesnt give enough detail. I hope i dont have to replace the whole HVAC just for one vent.

There is a flap motor in there. It has gone bad/ stripped drive axle. Lucifer himself has designed the access methodology to get to that flap. If you are a contortionist that is. Before atrempting to r&r it is advisable to drink a pint of blood of a virgin. Then your chance to not lose your sanity approaches very respectable 1%.
