Question GL 320 CDi low boost pressure

Hi guys,

Having an issue with a GL 320d going on limp mode. Fault is low boost pressure. Recently I replaced the Turbo because of a high boost pressure issue ...

Did anyone come across this issue ?

Thx,

check the plastic piping for cracks, they can be invisible until under boost then open up letting boost escape

pressure sensor orifice is usually dirty at your mileage. remove sensor and clean up as needed.

check pressure regulator.. linkage gets often stuck.

have the high pressure side pressure tested- your previous overboost might have compromised the intercooler and now it is leaking

Dear Alx, thx for your input. Checked everything and no leaks have been found. The Turbo is new ..... Therefore linkage is working fine. Removed the inter cooler to check for leaks but again everything looks good
Which pressure sensor are you referring to ?
Thx for your time
