Options to Upper/Lower control arm replacement

My GL550 has 60k miles and the suspension is creaking when I go over bumps. My Mercedes specialist tells me that I need to replace the uppers and lowers as a complete assembly as there is no way to just replace bushings. Rather than spend another $1,700 I am looking for alternatives as I'm getting weary of dropping $1,000+ a visit replacing parts that are still original on my 250k mile suburban. Thoughts are appreciated, thanks guys.

You can buy URO suspension kit (includes lower control arms) for $188 or MOOG control arms.

MOOG makes excellent products. I wouldn't hesitate to use them.

I recently put a set of Moog tie rod ends on my F-250. Great part, meaning it fit perfectly and improved the tightness of my steering. They were greasable as well but not sure if they were made in USA or China. Did a quick google search, and sure enough, Moog R series parts are outsourced to China. So, knowing that, I guess I would be more leary of a Moog part for the GL
