Help!! - Ripped off the door handle
A good news / bad news story ...
I slipped on the ice walking up to the truck - grabbed the drivers side door handle to break my fall...
- good news - landed nicely and didn't break any bones
- bad news - I ripped off the handle with my death grip on the way down!!
Any ideas on how to fix it most economically?

I replaced one on a different make of car but it should be similar. You need to take the inside panel off. There should be a clip or screw on the inside. You have to remove the clip or screw the disconnect the plug. Press new handle in then either clip or screw back in place and plug it in. Then put panel back on.

This one is easy. Buy one off ebay. Remove the rubber plug that is on the door jamb. Look inside with a flashlight. There is a bolt. Loosen it a lot. Wiggle the reminder of the handle out. Unclip harness carefully.
One thing when putting it back together the tightness of the bolt in the hole adjusts the flushness of the handle with the button part. Tighten so they are flush.
