2008 GL450 Parasitic battery drain
Hello,
I bought a 2008 GL450 that has a parasitic battery drain. Within hours, the (new) battery is completely dead. When I reconnect the battery after charging it, the rear hatch pops open & lifts immediately. I replaced the lock/latch mechanism with a new one, but it has the same symptom.

Out Of Control!!
here we go again, if you dont have the tools you are left with the FUYA which states you must have a charged battery and a meter and then you go fuse by fuse to locate the drain
