2021 GLS580 all black. 2014 GLK black (kids car). formerly: 2014 GL550 Palladium Silver (US)
Proclip or other dash mount phone holder?
Does anyone have experience with this dash mount? If so, do you recommend? Here's a picture of the mount I'm considering.

The tray under the temp controls gets way too hot to stow a phone.

Seems so unattractive when not in use. Why not place phone in the tray in the center armrest?
