FS: second row headrest (manual) Black Napa

hello MB drivers

I'm selling a set of brand new OEM Black Napa (white stitching) manual headrests.

These installed will fix the easy entry equipped poorly designed headrest issue. This allows for a more comfortable ride for kids and car seats.
Please read the other posts to understand the problem and the two fixes..
1. replace the headrest from the manual seat version
2. remove the pin from the existing seats (the route I decided to take as seen in my previous posts)

$500 takes them.. plus shipping. retail is $1000

holding out the headrest

spring loaded pulls the headrest close

bump.....
am surprised about all the hoopla about headrests that nobody is jumping on these. I guess everyone has tan interiors!
These will work in any black leather 450/550/63/350 (note the white stitching)

If you look at the pictures.... You can see how they have two positions. The headrests that normally come with easy entry don't fold as far back and are uncomfortable for anyone over 6 years old.

You can search around and see previous posts to get a clearer picture of the situation or simply order a new car without easy entry... These simply offer an OEM fix solution for somebody who wants easy entry and wants the comfort and an easier fit for car seats and who does not want to take the headrest apart that comes with an easy entry equipped car and remove the pin (which is what I did thus I do not need these manual OEM headrests that sell for $1000.

Actually, if your middle row will be all car seats you are in good shape. Simply don't order the optional power easy entry and all is well---with car seats installed you won't be folding the 2nd row anyway.

The 2nd row stock headrests extended in the up position fold rearward and flush with the seat back and thus do not interfere with car seats.

The entire issue is related to the power easy entry headrests as they are a different design from the stock headrests with the manual easy entry seats.

(Massive thread about the problem and why the head rests advertised in this thread can be a solution.)

Or you can take your car to an auto accessories shop, pay them $70 to remove the pin while you wait, and then all your kids have to do is push the bottom of the headrest forward and the seat will fold with the push of the button as intended. My first two GLs didn't have easy entry so the kids were already trained to push the headrest forward which you have to do with the manual seats. This really isn't a big issue anymore.

Three across could absolutely be a problem without the correct child seats.
