Squealing brakes - is it a warranty for Mercedes or no?
On my previous BMW squealing brakes were covered by the warranty and replaced by the dealer free of charge.
On my current Mercedes SA is saying, that squealing brakes are not the warranty issue and it is normal for them to squeal in winter.

About BMW, not really under warranty but part of their comprehensive 4y/50k maintenance program which includes select wear and tear item such as clutch, belts and brakes. Even small items like wipers are covered as well.
