Time needed to cool

Hey guys

I just got my first MB GL450. It's a 2013. Really love it so far.

Q: i've noticed even after driving it for 15-20m, after i get home and park it, takes 2 hours to really cool down the hood and engine compartment.

Is that ... normal ?

Thanks !

Own 2005 CLK500, but drive 2011 Sienna :)
With my 63 it takes even longer. It's nice, that it can hold the temperature (especially in the winter time).

Ok - so what you're saying is ... that it's normal
Thought so - but ... wanted to confirm
