Import GL350 from Canada Help!!!
I'm looking to import a GL 350 with AMG styling package to USA from Canada. Has anyone done this before? How hard is it and what all does it take? Just need some help on how to get the ball rolling and hopefully someone has experience doing this. Thanks in advance

You will need a letter from the manufacturer that states that that particular VIN complies with US emission standards. present at the border with your intention to import. Mercedes Canada will have to provide that.(Good luck)
The border crossing part is straight forward as long as you have the title/ownership and bill of sale.
You will pay duty if that model is built in Germany.
Then register locally. I imported an RV back into USA last year that way and had zero issues.

Impossible to do. This despite what others may say here. This car may not be imported to the US. Please click on or search under my name for my posts on the matter and you'll see a long discussion about why. I speak from a position of some experience and after talking with others actually expert. Don't think further on this despite what you'll hear from others.
No personal offense to nookie, but all GL built exclusively in the USA. Be sure you're taking advice from people who know your situation and applicable law before you buy that Canadian car...MB or otherwise, please.

No offence taken!, that's why I put in brackets (Good luck) in getting the compliance letter. It's not always possible for all cars.
Don't think Canadian versions have true TPMS to start with (vs ABS sensors). like my brand new GLE does. that alone may be a show stopper for import into USA.

Based on my limited research......it isn't gonna happen without jumping thru many hoops and sky walking across the clouds
