Rear Seat Entertainment System Universal Remote?
Is there a universal remote or remote app for the rear DVD system for Mercedes Command?

If you are asking is there is a aftermarket remote - or a Apple/Andoid app - not that I am aware of.

A replacement remote must be of the same "codce" series as the original remotes - and "most" required NetSat to code the new remote to the system in your GL.

Are theses remotes wifi, bluetooth or IR?

IR .. but not cloneable.. there is a proprietary security feature where the specific remote has to be coded into the system .. you can get eBay used remote - correct version - but recent model GL/GLS needs to have the rig programmed for that specific remote - a NetStar thing - am I being unclear ?

Feel free if you web search and find a useable clone/hack - feel free to post "your success" here

My 2013 GL remote, recently received from ebay, didn't need to be programmed by a MB dealer fortunately. I'll try to find a universal remote around the house to see if I can do an oldschool style clone.

I'm not sure they all work for any MB but for my '13 the model number is A2218703889 .
