Need Trailer Wiring DIY
Hello,
I've got a new GLA and managed to find a hitch but I cannot find anyone willing to touch the wiring. Does anyone have a DIY guide or any advice at all for wiring a trailer to the vehicle? Mercedes offers no wiring adapter for this vehicle, so it will have to be all gerry-rigged. I was told that it cannot be done traditionally without setting off error codes and requires some finesse. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Check out this wiring adapter from Curt Hitches. Let me know how it works out please.

There is only one wiring harness made that works with this car and U-Haul seemed to be the only place to order it. After weeks of exhaustive research the best option is simply to take it to U-Haul and pay the $520 for hitch and wiring installation.

How is the reliability or resistance to rust of the uhaul compared to oem? I know oem doesn't guarantee no rusting.
