Coilovers

Anyone know if there is a fitment yet for coilovers. KW has the non AMG GLA and I think the CLA might work but can anyone confirm?

front springs, or coil overs. I need to lower this front end asap. No one knows what to do for this vehicle yet. Help! Any advice. I've called everyone local and no one knows for sure.

I am in the same boat as you. I have a weistec downpipe rebellion CAI and some other cosmetic stuff so far. BUT I JUST WANNA LOWER THIS THING! I feel like just an inch drop would make a drastic difference in handling, and it would look sick! It already looks basically like a hatch, with a lil drop no one would think of it as an crossover. Someone come out with something!

I just did 20mm spacers all the way around and that really helps this thing sit better, the rear looks lowered after spacing it out. Just need 1.5 inch drop in the front and it will be perfect. My Weistec mid, down pipe just arrived today. Cant wait for that to be installed.

I have had some people tell me that spacers will upset the handling of the car, and that changing the wheels with the desired offset is the way to achieve the "look" you want. Can anyone comment on that?

I spacer all my cars. Some people will argue it's bad. I compare it to springs and coilovers. Springs work fine. Coilovers are the better way to do it. In my opinion spacers are safe and easy way to get the look. I track all my cars with spacers and never had a problem. Handling remains the same. Just my 2 cents.

That's nice to hear because I was thinking about 10mm spacers all around, with no lowering. Anyone have any positive or negative input on doing this?

GLA 45 AMG
Hello everyone.

I was in the same boat of wanting to lower the car so gave the KW V3 GLA 250 suspension a try and confirmed it works. My car is sitting at proper ride height and awaiting bronze volk te 37 ultras. Car rides better than stock and with fully adjustable dampening should be a hoot on track Hope this helps!

Pic for reference.

Thanks for the update. I just found out that KW has an application now for the 45AMG out of Germany. You can order it now, which I have done. Should arrive in a couple weeks. Will update with photos once everything is in. Cant wait!!!

Ya, you have to rake the car. Lower in the front higher in the back. that will look perfect. The photo shows the opposite which I hate the look of on any car.

I agree. It will be adjusted once the wheels come in. Doesnt help that the pic is on a hill sloping backwards lol

This is great news. Would you say that the car handles significantly better than stock? Also does it rub at all?
Could you also post a picture from the rear of the car from about 20 feet away?
