GLC63 spied
You read that correctly: GLC63, not GLC43. Seems Mercedes has decided to put some development time into shoving a V8 into the GLC:

Still not in production trim, but she looks pretty badass going. 16 additional photos at the link.

Will be great when this comes out. Not sure how this is badass as it looks exactly like the current AMG version with night pack and odd wheels I'd hope the production model will get some actual body panel modifications opposed to merely the plastic wheel arch extenders that I've got on my GLC43 model.
Could be interesting when it comes out. The rear bias of the 43 makes it for a fantastic vehicle and it definitely felt like it can handle much more power.

I'm really looking forward to this car.
Don't think it will get special body panel treatments. I imagine the wheel wells are big enough to properly house 295-305 tires without issue. Of course we should expect modified front and rear bumpers, but I wouldn't count on extra flared arches or something like that.
But the one thing I hate about the AMG-lite models are the weird looking exhaust tips. The "real" AMG models have the proper dual exhaust which makes a huge difference visually (and aurally because V8).
Because V8. That should be the AMG slogan.

so what is a real AMG model?
4 cylinder turbo, 3.0TT, 4.0TT, V8, V8 supercharged, V12?
my point about the wheel arches being that currently they had to be extended but with plastic. It would be good if that changed to actual body work.

Wonder if the scrubbing will be fixed for RHD cars.. or I can imagine this one even worse with that much extra power... I wouldn't want to drive it round the corners...

I would love bigger arches as well, but feel like Mercedes will try keep production costs down and just avoid it. Of course let's hope I'm wrong.
The GLE63 comes in AWD.

This will be another awesome AMG! Surely it will stay with 4matic, if it does will be interesting to see where it sits in the price range. New E63 is 4matic, with drift mode...
I love the black chrome exhaust tips on my glc43, though I have word Armytrix are developing an exhaust system for the glc43.

Thanks @damnitBobby / @JustinS - I didn't know that. That could make the 63 models very interesting and useable for us mere mortals (as in not spinning round with the high power rear wheel drive)

Shopping 2019 GLC 63s
Did anyone hear about the GLC 63 S engine? I have been seeing conflicting reports about if they will use the C 63 S or the E63 S 4.0 L Twin Turbo. If they use the detuned E63 S engine Brabus is going to have fun with this model.

On my second tank, still running in, only 928km on the clock, getting 11.7L / 100km ( 20MPG U.S., 24MPG U.K ). Mainly city drivng , Eco mode.. Will be interesting to see if this improves as i get a few more Km's on the clock. Im happy with 11.7L/100km, pretty awesome for a bi turbo V6. Of course this will all change when im able to use sports mode
