Anyone have a roof rack kit yet?
I've been wanting to get a Whispbar roof rack for the GLC. But, they won't have one for a while. Anyone find one that fits?

I presume this is an aftermarket bar ?
Currently it's cheaper for me to buy a MB bar kit in USA and have it delivered to Oz, than buy one here !
Are these much quieter normally than the OEM ones ?

The Whispbar http://www.whispbar.com/ is a really well designed and engineered product. I've had them on two other cars. And yes. They are quieter. But, as you put stuff on them of course the noise level increases. I like them for any car that I have with or without a sunroof. I've looked at the MB bike rack mounting system and it has got to be pretty loud.

Yup....just got the MB kit. A bit fidgety but nice design and very quiet!
Note that it limits the panorama roof opening....IF that's a problem for you.

What happens when you open the sunroof? Any pics of the rack?

It just opens partially or only vents. Legs of the rack prevent full retraction.
Will get you pics in a day or two....
