Front Tag Alternative
Have been trying to come up with a removable front tag bracket. Spent some time with the people from STO N SHO http://www.bigmikesperformanceparts.com They went by and checked out the GLC along with pictures from me and said they didn't have an application that would work on the car. Anyone know of another means to do this without using the tow hook.

There may not be enough demand for sto n sho to create an adapter for the GLC. I have my rear plate in the rear if stopped, because.........the dealer has been unable to obtain the bracket for the front license plate. That is my story and I am sticking to it. I will not drill a hole in the bumper area or use the tow hook option. In an emergency I have black zip ties that I will mount to the grill area and once out of the area I will remove. To each their own choices. Good luck!!!

I may make a copy of tag on card board material and have it lamented and just tuck it inside the opening between framing. I use to do this on my Harley when Maryland used oversize tags... had Office depot copy reduce and laminate.
