Some Issues I'm having with 2016 GLC 300
Hello,
Little background I've had the car for about 4 months and has about 3,800 miles, mostly all highway miles. I'm having issues with windshield wipers smearing the rain but it only does it on driver side. I've had windshield wipers replace with oem Mercedes windshield wipers but it still smears the water when it rains. Back bumper piece had a gap/sticking out slightly, I attached a picture. This actually bothers me alot because it's noticeable when I walk to back of car, I'm concern it will only get worst with time. I also had problem with brakes making noise but it only seems to do it when it gets cold or rains. My question is should I take it into dealership to get issues fixed? Would this be covered under warranty or would I have to pay out of pocket? I didn't buy anything extra in terms of warranty, hence I only have what comes with a new car.
Thank you in advance for advice.

Poor wiper performance is a known issue; personally I polished my glass with cerium oxide, cleaned the blades with IPA, and bent the wiper arms to adjust the angle of the blade to the screen. I continue to keep the glass clean, periodically claying the glass.
If any of these terms are foreign to you, suggest a quick google.....
Others have tried extensive cleaning and replacement wipers to no avail. one even replaced the screen glass after many months of frustration.
Suggest you do what you can and is acceptable to you and if no avail then return to the dealer.
Brake noise especially in cold climates across many C and GLC .. many have changed pads, rotors and added shims etc.. some improvements.. personally I stripped, cleaned and rebuilt mine and all I have now is a very slight groan as you come to a final rest or for example when the handbrake is released... I can live with that..
Body panel alignment hs been an issue on C class, so they are certainly not immune to passing poor quality in that regard. Defineatley rasi with dealer. Suggest checking other similar models too. If they all have it you may get less traction. If its only yours then its demonstrably an anomaly...
Best of luck..

Same issue with me when it rains hard or alot seems the fastest wiper setting ain't fast enough and leaves like a smear on the drivers side. Could barely drive when it really pours. Passenger side seems clearer.
My 08 FJ cruiser demolishes the rain when it hits the windshield super clear and fast to see outside. Thank god it barely rains in LA well except this year.

Just update if anybody is curious after I took it into dealership.
Brakes making noise: They said it didn't make any noise at the time hence it was fine.
Windshield leaving streaks/smearing the rain: They said they polish windshield and it continued to leave streaks so they put new windshield wipers and supposedly that rectified the problem. I don't know as of yet because it hasn't rain since the fix.
Bumper sticking out: They said side of bumper came off a bracket and bumper was taken off and everything was reattached. They did admit that it does still sticks out more than other side of bumper but says it's in "Mercedes tolerance" of being acceptable. In my opinion it does stick out more than other side but it isn't loose like before and isn't sticking out as much as it was before, so I guess I will accept it.
Everything was cover under warranty hence I didn't have to pay anything.

Prepare to return to the dealer for noisy brakes. Common problem with GLCs. Same situation with poor wiper blade operation.
There is a bulletin out for noisy brakes. Calls out a new and improved brake pad compound. Don't expect quick fix as these pads are backordered with an unknown delivery date.

Sucks that wipers were such an issue in the early GLC's...
I always polish my windshield and then apply a thin coat of RainX. You will never drive a car without it again
OT: How long is the warranty in the US? In Norway, where I'm from, we get 5 year warranty/or X miles (usually 120,000 miles, but minimum 60k) which is awesome

The standard new MB GLC warranty is four years or 50,000 miles, whichever comes first.
There is an optional three year 75,000/100,000 mile extended warranty available that takes effect at the conclusion of the standard four year warranty.
Most GM automobiles come with a three year 36,000 mile warranty which is extendable.
On average, US drivers drive about 15,000 miles a year.
Opps, sorry. Didn't see the question was addressed to fearyoda.

Wow, I'd kill for that kind of warranty.

No worries. We can't extend warranties though, but you can buy driveline-insurance from your insurance company. In case you blow an engine before the vehicle is 8 years or older.
I suspect the dealers are way easier to deal with if you bought the extended warrany
