Available Discounts for Buying GLC300
Hi All,
I believe 3 type of Discounts are available from MB to buyers
1) Fleet Discount (if Applicable under Employer Program)
2) United Premier Discount
3) Armed forces Discounts.
In my case only 1 & 2 is applicable (as not part of armed forces). Can we combine 1 and 2 (Fleet + United Premier) ?
How to get United Premier Discount ? Website ? Address information will be helpful.
Thanks in Advance

I haven't completed the process but it looks like if you sign up they refer you to a dealer - you can potentially ignore that dealer but still get the discount from the dealer you want.
I would phone around different dealers, key tips:
- some dealers will only draw from their own stock, others will find the car you want from a dealer in the same or another state. The GLC43 is a 50 state car I believe. Cars can be transferred for about $1k.
- a lot comes down to negotiation. GLC43s are pretty hot right now so discounts aren't as good as they used to be. Most dealers are alloted just 2 GLC43 slots per quarter.
- Here in California 5% off MSRP is good, 7% is great on a GLC43. Your mileage on this discount will vary depending on where you are in the country. It may be harder / impossible to combine the United discount with negotiated discounts the higher up % discount you get.
- I'm not sure what discount you'll get on a regular GLC, but I know they're popular right now
- dealers in major metro areas have a captive market of buyers who aren't great negotiators and they know they can get a good markup, with the exclusion of Keyes Mercedes in LA which is a high volume dealer. I found better deals outside the Bay Area than in the metro.
Be sure when negotiating a discount to affirm if the discount is just on the base car price, or on the options too - it should be both, but be sure to get this in writing.
I ended up buying from James Reemts of Rocklin Mercedes not far from Sacramento. Keyes Mercedes in LA were also very price competitive but ultimately Rocklin won the deal for me.

I got my GLC43 in the Cleveland Area.
Glc 43 SUV
59515 sticker.
36m/12k.
0 down 0 out of pocket.
Dealer included maintenance and all weather tires(Goodyear eagle sport) since mine came with 20" summer tires.
767/month w/ tax and everything above. no first month payment, sign and drive.
Pretty solid discount if you go to a high volume dealer at the right time.

Thanks for your replies. Just to clarify these discounts are "above and Beyond Dealer Negotiated price for you as Customer". It means Dealers DONT lose money due to it but it's subsidized by MB to create loyalty base.
Specially those who are working for decent employers (say 1+ Billion dollar revenue employer in US) .. Chances are you may get FLEET discount (Through employer if tied up with MB program)
* AS of now it's $500 credit for 2017 models (effective from Jan 4, 2017 onwards. But 0 credit for 2016
(Last year as in till Jan 3,2017 ... 2016 had $1000 credit and 2017 as $500)
Quite frankly I was expecting per past trend around $750 to $1000 Credit for 2017 model in 2017 year .. but due to it's popularity .. it seems that it's only $500. For example C300 sedan has $2000 credit, GLE $2500
Let me do my contribution ( I am a Buyer and NOT related to MB entity). Posting this information in Good Faith

It does not hurt to call .. Give Employer name and find out ... Best Luck

NOT a recommendation and this is nothing new. Mercedes amex (blue) not platinum. Risk/reward was worth a shot. With the interval between order/delivery and agreeable sales it worked for me. Certificates and (enhanced) reward points added to a "fair deal". Didn't foresee other fleet discounts and waited to post till it was a done deal. my (over priced) 2¢

I attended an auto show and filled out an iPad form for a "special offer" on a new Mercedes. I waited a week and hadn't heard anything, so I called MBUSA customer service and inquired about the offer. She took my info and said she would check and follow up.
Within 48 hours I had an email with a link to a certificate for $500 off, good for 6 months from the date it was issued. I think this is the same $500 incentive as United Premiere and others. The disclaimer says one per customer and can't be combined with other special offers. If there's an auto show in your area and you're within 6 months of delivery, this may be worth your time. Or a phone call.
