The OEM pads are semi metallic... a ceramic/copper pad will help with dust but the difference in brake efficiency will be noticed. There aren't many made for thr GLK just yet (especially with the sensors and all) but they will soon be available.

I put Rejex on the whole vehicle yesterday and can say that this stuff is awesome. I found a link stating the history of Rejex and how its military uses caused it to be developed. I'll try the Armor-All stuff if the Rejex doesn't pan out.

REJEX

I first purchased the Armorall Wheel Protectant and sprayed my wheels, it does help but leaves a weird film on the wheels which I think cuts back on the shine.Today I bought a 16oz bottle of Rejex fo $ 26.00,Originaly I was just going to use it on wheels and front bumpers and headlights but once I started I did the whole car... Now I have always been a user of a polish called "Pinnacle" which is made in Florida and I still swear by it...But this Rejex leaves a shine that is super incredible, a friend of mine owns a Detail company for boats and autos and he said he never saw a shine like this from the Rejex...Even the wheels have a great glow to them,,so now is the test and see how good it repels dirt and also how long it lasts.. I also bought whats called a "California Duster" which really looks like a dust mop on a handle that has been treated with something, and mI find that it is great for quick waterless wipedowns, and it does not harm the pain, the dirtier it gets the better it works..$12.00!!! Thanks for the tip on buying the "Rejex"..

Thanks Geminidan! We are experiencing a heavy pollen season now and
I've noticed that the the pollen is not sticking too badly to the areas I Rejex'd. It is sticking like crazy to the side windows and not on the panorama roof which I also applied Rejex to. I want to rinse it off and check to see what kind of water bead appears, but am waiting until the pollen has tapered off. I'll keep you posted on how long this stuff lasts.

You need to let the armor all bake on then you can wipe it down with Micro fiber towel for that shine.

Rejex

It is not a dust mop, They call it "California Duster" it is treated with some kind of wax and does not scratch, I spoke to the owner of "REJEX" today and he explained that this was made for airplanes because the exhaust was wearing out the paint on the sides of planes,,so it must be some cool stuff,,I also ordered a bottle of their cleaner today for inside the rims,

I usually use a small swiffer for the the interior. We had a good rain on Thursday and the pollen just floated off the cars and rims. The brake dust also, so I'm pretty pleased with the Rejex so far.

Brake Dust

I went a little overboard yesterday and did a second coat of Rejex....when I washed the car the water sheeted off,,,but when the water hit the wheels the black stuff ran like liquid,,I would like to get the wheels off and put a complete coat on the inside,,then nothing will stick to the wheel,,,

Anyone know where I can purchase "Rejex" in Canada? I used the "Armor All" wheel protect stuff as soon as I picked up my GLK and not really impressed. The brake dust is driving me crazy and I am not driving (braking) the vehicle hard. If there is any other product any of you can suggest please let me know. Thanks

Anyone got an answer to this question?

I read somewhere that the OEM front brake pads are ceramic...and the OEM rear brake pads are semi-metallic. Is it true? Can anyone confirm this?
