Haha - wait a few - venchka aka Wayne will happily help you out. BB & Android works easily with the GLK's system.

Sorry. I have no idea how to do it. The pretty lady who delivered our GLK did it for both of our Torch 9800 phones. Took about a minute total.
Did you buy new? Go back to the dealer. Get the Deluxe Delivery Service. Takes a couple hours and everything is explained. Wayne

1. First you go to your GLK's phone setting and have contacts transfer ready
(your GLK will disconnect from your phone's bluetooth). 2. On your blackberry, go to "Bluetooth Connections" 3. On the "Pair Devices" list, highlight MB Bluetooth, click on blackberry button and select "Transfer Contacts". 4. Wait .....DONE! I just remember these steps off my head, so might miss a step or 2. Let me know it it works or not. |

Slow again. Didn't see the previous post while typing. You get the idea.
OK. I have a break at work. Here's the way it works for us. 1. Connect Bluetooth phone to Bluetooth GLK. 2. Go to Setup menu. 3. Select Bluetooth. 4. Select MB Bluetooth. 5. Menu opens. 6. Select Transfer contacts. 7. Done. It helps to be in the GLK with the engine running. Wayne

Make sure your GLK shows "Ready to Receive" message on the screen. (go to Phone -----> Receive Business Card(s)). If not, then you will get that error message. Last edited by ble2716; 04-21-2012 at 02:10 PM. |

success
Hello Ble2716 and all,
everything works now. was missing a step. Here is what i did exactly (if anyone encounters the same issue) 1- make sure bluetooth on GLK and BB are paired and 'connected' ie when you turn on the car, it will show as paired, ready to use 2- on the GLK display, go to phone, then choose : receive v business cards 3- you will get another screen on the display (# of contacts received: 0) 4- go to your BB (you will have noticed that a messsage popped up briefly stating it disconnected from the Bluetooth of the car) 5- in your BB, go to Options 6- then Networks and Connections 7- then Bluetooth connections 8- then go a bit at the bottom of the screen where you should have your bluetooth paired device (mine showed: MB bluetooth) and select it 9- select Full menu 10- select Transfer contacts Your contacts will then transfer to the GLK display, you will see the # of contacts increasing from 0........to whatever # of contacts you had Took 2 minutes.....the step that people fail to mention on forums (except this one) is Step #2. thanks everyone eli |
