Seat Belt Replacement Battery Drain

My 2010 GLK is just out of warranty and my SRS malfunction warning came on so took to dealing and they repaired the drivers seat belt and fixed the issue. Drove the car home and the next morning the car wouldnt start. Got the car jumped and it seems the battery is still weak. Is there any correlation between the seat belt and something that could be draining my battery? Never had battery issues before this?

If not, what could the dealer have done that would have drained the battery when changing the seat belt?

Its 'possible' the dealer left the car 'on' while they had it in possession? Happened to a guy when I was at a dealership

I would think the dealer would have disconnected the battery...! When playing with seatbelts, it's important to disconnect the power, as a screw-up can blow the airbags. In most cars you must disconnect 30 mins ahead before playing with any air bag sensors! That said, perhaps 1 or both batt terminals are loose. Can't answer why the drain overnight...
