2014 Glk250 BlueTec
Smile Great MPG

Took my GLK250 Bluetec to East Hampton this past weekend and recorded 41.3 MPG going and 38.8 MPG on the return. This truck is truly amazing and I couldn't be happier. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to achieve great mileage.

Is that calculated from the instrument panel or actual pump/mileage? There IS a difference! Usually a bit less than the onboard calc's give you. I've found as much as 2 mpg difference between the two. Out of curiousity, what was average speed? I don't do that well but here in the west the open highways let you cruise near 90mph and that eats up my mileage. I'm nearer 35-36mpg.

It was the MPG on the instrument panel. I used cruise control at 58 MPH. Even if this is off by 2 MPG, it is still amazing for a 4300 pound vehicle.

It could be accurate and, yes, that is darned good! If I drove sensibly I'd expect something like that. Great cars!!

2014 GLK 250
Just got back from an NY-NC round trip run with the 250. My Best MPG was on the return trip back to NY. 623 miles, avg 65 mph for 9:33 hrs getting 37.8 mpg.

Overall my 3 day total was 1309 miles, avg 59 mph for 22:22hrs getting 36.3 mpg.

Love the truck, hummed along with no issues at all the entire trip, and I really did not have any comfort issues. Which is probably why i now have 20k miles on it in 8 months.

It's definitely possible. Our last (in-city) tank was 790 km on 56 litres, which equals 33.5 MPG - and our highway mileage is usually much better.
