Streaks on Windshield

I got a hand car wash about a week ago and something that they used on the roof (perhaps a soap) dribbled down the windshield and created these nasty streaks. I tried wiping them off with a cloth to no avail. I was hoping that the rainfalls we've been getting this week would do the trick but they are still there. Also did an automatic car wash yesterday (sorry I was lazy); they have faded a bit and it's still there.

They're not so bad but it's bothering me. Will windex do the trick? Any other tips or advice?

Thanks in advance.
