Hey ,
I finally took a quick picture to show the install of my DRL on the GLK ;
Its not as bright as OEm but you can see it no problem .






I will take some picture of how it look when dimmed , i wired the dimming when headlight are on, dimming is very special

The product is good , quality is good , i have nothing to say about that .
The install is a nightmare , really painfull .
The wiring is easy , black on minus - and red on live +12V when engine run .
The dimming i wired it on the position bulb.

you should try it
For me the foglight were useless , and i like the look of the DRL anyways .

I like them to. Wiring-wise, are these activated as the DRL instead of small bulb in the headlamp housing and especially without the amber being activated? Or did these take the place of the fog, and you have fogs turned on? Since you're EURO, I'm thinking our wiring may be different from my US spec with different regulations.

they are activated whenever the engine is on .
The go to dimming mode when headlight are turned on.

MY GLK ,before the DRL mod didnt have any light on for the daytime .
I use the A (automatic) setting in the light selector and nothing else , no fog , no manual position.

It is interesting that your GLK is a 2009. I bought my 2010 in January of 2009. It was built in October of 2008. The GLK was introduced in the US as a 2010.
