I searched for chrome bolts for my 2010 GLK and found LA Wheels have them at $85 for 20. i got fed up with the crappy OEM bolts

The nickel ones that came with my car were starting to rust for some reason, so I took it back to the dealer they replace them all under warranty with these new style black ones. They look 100x's better than the nickel ones. Just putting this out there in case this was an option that is available to you.

Once you use an impact (air) gun to remove the lug nuts the rust will start.

NOBODY uses an air gun on my wheels on any of my cars.If they do they are told they will replace them at their cost.I have never had an issue with rust because of this. One of my other cars is a Corvette, so you know how fussy I can be.I do not mind paying extra for them to take extra time. Fair is fair.

The mentioned wheel bolt caps are the way to go. Audi has dark gray, VW has black & there are other options including chrome. When you purchase a set, be certain to get the tool to remove them. I have a set of Saab caps with the VW removal tool which I prefer as it is made of a durable plastic & will not scratch the wheels. Size is 17MM.
