Lug bolt spec for factory 17" wheel

Hi there, I got a set of used 17" factory wheels (the one in the middle) and not sure if I needed shorter lug bolts. Car is currently running 20". Thanks

The OEM wheel bolts (14x1.5x45mm R14) that are currently holding the 20" wheels on your GLK will be a perfect fit for the 17x7.5 Mercedes 5-spoke wheels. I run the same 17" wheels on my 2015 GLK 350.

Read some where they may require longer bolts than what is standard. There are longer bolts if you have a spare tyre in the tool kit to try.

i am using the same bolts on my 20 inch rims and 17 inch rims.
Both of these were genuine MB rims.

Thanks guys!!! Wheels changed, using the same bolts from the 20". I have to say the 17" provides a much better ride and for me, "confidence" as well (without worrying too much about potholes)!!!

Out of curiosity, where did you get the wheels? That's what I wanted to run, but couldn't find a source for them here in the states (could get a UK company to ship them, for quite the price!). Ended up with some 17" C-class wheels instead.

Would love to see pics if you have any

Here's the pic. Nothing too fancy about the wheel, but consider the price that I paid the previous owner from Kijiji I have nothing to complain about :-)

Thanks for the pic -- I like the look. Are you in Canada then?

Just to share, pics of the C-class rims on my GLK are in this post:

I got my 17 inch rims from Tirerack for $59 each. It was a blackout clearance...

GLk definitely runs quieter with smoother ride. Performance / steering minimally affected.

The bolts are different on the 17 inch than the 20 inch (my OEM).
