Day Light Savings / Time Settings / SirusXM and the Mercedes Clock

I've been driving the GLK since the beginning of 2014.

Last March, we were still subscribed to SirusXM and the Mercedes clock automatically changed to daylight savings. We then took a road trip out to Grand Canyon and Vegas in April and the clock automatically changed time zones between California, Arizona, and Nevada.

Daylight savings just kicked in this last weekend (November) again but the time didn't change automatically. I don't have SirusXM anymore and I assumed the radio would have pulled from my GPS instead but it didn't. I had to manually change the clock.

Can anyone tell me if Mercedes uses SirusXM to change the clock or not? Is there a way for the car to automatically change the time?

The clock will adjust to changing timezones automatically via Satellite but will not adjust accordingly to Daylight Savings. Do you have COMAND/navi? You can change the daylight savings in the 'Time' settings. Although your current position selects the time zone automatically, you still need to set Daylight Savings by selecting your timezone then it will ask you if you are in Daylight Savings or not.

Thanks! I do have the sat/nav system and the times were changing throughout my travels in different time zones. I didn't know I had to manually adjust for daylight savings as I don't think is necessary on stand alone GPS units like Garmins.
