Looking to purchase 2015 GLK350 4Matic
What kind of discount should I expect this month? Is 3k under invoice still reasonable? One dealer said that there are no incentives going on right now for this model. Should I wait a bit longer until they announce the new 2016's?

What's reasonable is what fits your budget and how badly you want a GLK. If it is a diesel doubt you will get much of a discount. 2015's are out now do you really want to wait for a '16?

Yes, there is really nothing new in the life cycles of new generation model design and pricing during the course of a sales year. What is "NEW" are shorter times BETWEEN generations. One spin off is greater development costs need to be gotten back sooner in the new shorter lifecycle.
So for example, with the 16 GLK 350 being "redesigned", I am glad I have the 14 GLK 250 B/T or ONE of last MY's before "redesign" and hopefully the recipient of that models and last years' "constant improvement" I am not knowledgeable as what was improved over the 14 MY. Being as how the 15 MY is the last, in theory you should benefit from "better to best" discounting, ergo late to later in the year being "better". What part/s of that progression you wish to take advantage of is/are the issue/s.
I also look longer term. We have two Toyota Landcruisers going on 21 years and 250,000 miles. I see no reason why the 14/15 MB GLK 250 BT should not equal or exceed that.

Two possible problems with such advice...
1. some people want nothing to do with the "new look" GLK styling
2. if it really is "pretty much fully redesigned" in the larger sense, then it's akin to buying the first year model of a new car. often times not a good idea...

Check out the new pics of 2016 model and see if you like that. If you do then wait otherwise $3k UNDER INVOICE is quite good. We bought ours brand new in 2011 for $2k under invoice only.
