GLK coolant warning

Hi, i received a check coolant warning in the speedometer window, and then I checked the coolant when the engine was cold (below 40C), and I took pictures because I don't know whether it's at a normal level or not. The pictures are in the attachments. Do i need to go to the dealer to fill it up?

I had same problem, the level of the coolant you can see from the side of coolant container. My problem was plastic holder of fuel filter, it deformed somehow and caused coolant leak. Repair cost me in MB dealer 190 € (Slovakia).

2013 MB GLK 350
Had the same thing happen to me on my 2013 GLK 350 base with 13000 miles. I added fluid and now waiting to see if it happens again. If so it is still under warranty and I will take it in for a check up.

If your car is under warranty take it to the dealer...if no, buy bottle of coolant (same as you have, so you will probably have to visit mb dealer anyway), fill it and check the level permanently...if there is a leak, visit your dealer asap...as I mentioned before, in my case it was a plastic holder of fuel filter. My car is out of warranty so I paid 190 € for all.

I've had that happen to me twice where the check coolant light comes on. I've simply just refilled it with coolant that I bought from the auto store. I haven't noticed a leak, but if there is, it seems very minor as after i topped off the coolant, the check coolant light didn't come on for another year and a bit. It's no big deal in my mind to refill once a year.
