Well off to the shop....

After almost 1 1/2 years we have our first issue, the steering wheel will no longer move up and down. It still moves in and out without issue, when you move up and down you just hear a clunk as the motor tries to turn but no movement.... Anyone else have this problem?

Only when it is sub freezing on my 2010 and a littel assistance to the motor, pushing in the desired direction seems to solve the problem.

I had this exact problem on my 2014 GLK 350. I had the Easy-Entry feature activated and started noticing a clunk as the motor started to raise or lower. Eventually one day it just stopped moving up and down but would still move in and out. I turned off the Easy-Entry option for a while and one day decided to try moving the tilt switch up and down a few times and it eventually starting working and has worked ever since. I fear it will stop again at any time.

Don't hassle with it. Take it to the dealer, that is why there is a warranty.

2014 Mercedes GLK 250 - Polar White
I ended up turning off my ease of entry. The steering wheel would always make a loud pop sound when I started the vehicle and the steering wheel would return to position.

Please let us know the details on the update.
