Took delivery on a 2015 Black GLK with 42 miles on it last Sat. Very pleased with the car (and the price). I do have several questions regarding 2015 model:

How different is it from the 2014 model? Same oil/air/cabin filters?

What are you doing to compensate for the lack of spare? I intend on buying a portable compressor and storing it in the spare tire compartment.

Did your GLK come equipped with Dunlap run flats? I'm ditching mine. Rides hard and numb.

Does your GLK make a servo/small electric motor buzzing sound after you park the car? Mine is coming from the engine bay area. Sounds like it's calibrating.

I have the Premium Package. For the power lift gate, is it possible to operate it manually vs. powered? Will I damage it if I operate it manually?

Someone here mentioned that BMW finally offered their customers the option of disabling their ECO start/stop system. Any chance that'll happen with MB?

Are you in the U.S.? Do you have the 250 or 350?

I bought a 2015 GLK350 4M in February. I have an inflatable spare and Continental tires, but I only have the "base" 19" wheels. My dealer told me I can use the tailgate manually if I want, it's just harder to move.

You cannot disable the stop/start without pressing the button on the dash. I know I hope that button went through major rounds of testing...it's surely going to wear out on my watch, lol.

Pay attention to the 3-4 shift on light or no throttle (if you have the 350).

Congrats on the new ride!

Mine is a 350.

Can you elaborate on the 3-4 shift on light or no throttle? I haven't noticed anything on mine.

Ya, I see an 'odd' shift between 3rd and 4th. sometimes, coming around an exit on the highway, it doesn't downshift cleanly. I've had to hit the pedal to the floor 2-3 times before it downshifts. Think I'll try the S mode for a while.

You buy a special MB spare tire, (or one of same size that collapses) .

For the main tires, look at Michelin , they have what might be the best all season tire out.

Filters may not be the same, I'd go to the dealer and buy what they say you need. Manual operation of the door is just a bit slower.
