wheel and tire warranty worth it?

You don't show where you are from to answer this. If you are from the north east, NYC area, Chicago etc....you know what kinds of pothole appear each winter, then yes, the tire warranty is worth it (BTW...if you buy at Costco, there is free tire replacement). All tires are prorated, so you will only get credit for what is left on the damaged tire.
The wheel guarantee is another story. If you usually park your car not thinking where the curb is located, then I'd get it. If your previous car's wheel were not curb rashed, forget it.
A rim repair usually runs around $200.
How much do they want for the "deal"?

2014 glk 250BT (RIP, 3/1/17}, 2010 C300
My wife's 2010 C300 has had 3 tires and 2 wheels replaced. The cost would have been tires $239 each plus installation & warranty. The wheels $1200 per. It was worth it.
On my 250, 2 runflat tires at $316+ each from tire rack so far it's paying off.

Example: 2014 GL - customer runs into massive pothole - "oinch flat" both passenger side tires + in the process "cracks" rear wheel.
Example: 2015 SLS - customer "curbs" front passenger side wheel - badly - SLS factory rims are combo face polished with black accents - not possible to reproduce factory polish faces - wheel replacement
Example: 2015 GLK - customer has rewar driver's side puncture - nail up thru sidewall - tire irrepairable sidewall puncture
Most MB dealers offer MB Wheel+Tire policy - which can be added to existing finance contract - a good thing - pricing is generally scaled to MSRP of the vehicle -

hard to tell without the price...
I paid 1200 for 5 years, and I broke even, 4 or 5 tires replaced. A couple didn't REALLY need to be replaced and could have been plugged.

Get wheel locks too.
If you are in NJ I'd get wheel locks especially if you park the car in urban areas or outside on the street at night. I'm not sure wheel insurance covers stolen wheels.
I know someone who has a different wheel lock on EVERY bolt. He'd been robbed twice.

I'm in NJ and don't have wheel locks on GLK or Porsche. If you have to worry about this, prolly new Benz is not right for the area. And your regular insurance should cover wheel theft.

Wheel locks are a great idea; that way you will have at least one lug bolt that is not rusted...
