Wow, that's slick. Is the paint Plasti Dip? I've never seen gold. Seems like it would have been a pain to do.

Well yeah it is a pain in the *** to do cause first of all i have no clue about painting when i started this by painting the calipers. If I am correct I took me more than 2 months lol its funny now that I recall everything.

Looks sexy lol. Not my taste for a GLK but I think it looks good and I can appreciate it.
The gold is a nice touch instead of the chrome

2011 Mercedes GLK350 4Matic in White
Hello Edmonton (fellow Canuck here)!
You did an amazing job and the details are stupendous. I have an 2011 GLK 350 in white and was thinking that they were badly scratched up by the first owner. I really like the look of the dark matte wheels. Can you provide more info on how you did it? Thanks

Thnx to all that liked it. and to answer some questions, I painted everthing myself starting from the calipers. it took me a lot of trial and error and a pretty penny because I have zero experience in painting and taking apart some parts of the car like the front grill, both front and back bumper, the roof rack, the trims, and calipers.

I will be redoing the paint on it this year 2017 because i finally got a decent enough compressor and gun. so look forward to it.

not sure if it will be the same color as this one or not yet any suggestions?

Car needs some exhaust drag boxes coming out behind the front wheels and a shaker hood. Actually you did a great job especially for no previous experience. Good tools will always make the job easier so good luck with the new compressor.
