Does anyone have experience on converting standard headlight to CREE LED
To Mercedes-Benz Expertise:
I cam across with this attractive headlight conversions kit on ebay (http://www.ebay.com/itm/291511185418?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT). However, before I can purchase this kit, does anybody knows whether this kit is compatible with with standard headlights on a GLK250BT, and, is there enough space inside the headlamp compartment for a roughly 2" x 3" x 1" LED controller.
Also, does this new configuration requires alternation of the existing genuine Mercedes parts.
I would like to install this kit by myself and share the processes in this forum if this kit has been proven compatible with the manufacture configuration.

I recently replaced the HIDs in my 2012 GLK350 with the Razir LED from HIDEXTRA.COM. It's plug and play and fits properly in the housing with plenty of space for the LED fan.

The H7 HID kit looked great and its compatible.
The HID light is wonderful, however, I am looking for a digitized light source such as the bright LED diodes.
Status update:
1. Removing the circular cap from both the driver side and the passenger side.
2. A glance at the manufacture configured headlight lamp, located at the diver side. The main disruption is the windshield reservoir, as well as assorted tubing.
3. The lamp located at the passenger side is much accessible.
There weren't odd shaped locking pins involved and looked like a sizable Torx screw driver is necessary for the removal of these orange headlights with H7 connector configuration.
I am currently looking for the instruction to properly remove and install these lights sources.

Adding a fan (moving part) to ventilate heat off the LEDs is not what I have anticipated.the installation of a current driver box within the headlight compartmnet is already a great challenge for this task. Hopefully there are easier solution with clear instructions.

Kind of afraid to ask but.... what is a digitized light source?

Wouldn't these look horrible on the 2013+ GLK that have stock halogen bulbs?
Pre 2013 GLK's with halogen bulbs at least had a projector, but 2013+ GLK's don't have a projector (unless you get the lighting package) and the light output won't be clean
