Anybody have used this cross bars in their glk?

Have you considered the Yakima Whispbar knockoffs on eBay? They go for around $80 a pair and reviews seem decent on other forums (I think there was a post w/ lots of responses on a Jeep forum).

I wouldn't be surprised if these eBay cross bars are made in the same factory as the Yakima Whispbar...

The reviews don't look very good. They don't lock and are low profile so most people have issues with their sunroof. I want bars i can leave on and still open the sunroof.

I think they do lock (I see there is a key in the picture).

I think the Yakima's have both low profile and regular whispbars. The knock offs are just the low profile one. I believe someone on the GLK board mentioned low profiles working with the sunroof (do a search for the topic).

I tried to order the Thule and they said I will not be able to open the pano roof. But from looking, there is a very small clearance to actually let it open. Here is a pic of my box
